ORIGIN STORY
Babbage was a combat-class unit sent to join the new Legion Academy from the newly founded planet of Robotica, after the long war between machine intelligence and organic life. Many of his peers resented his presence, blaming the machine life for all the hardships of the war.
Cosmic Boy, however, personally greeted Babbage and spoke with him shortly about history and the like (Babbage's chosen codename was a reference to a progenitor of computer science). Rokk thought that what Babbage was trying to accomplish with his enrollment was commendable, and offered the young machine good tidings.
Babbage served well during the few instances the Legion Cadets were called into action.
